Precision Thread Plug Gauge GO and NOGO Set Hardened Steel Quality Control
These metric plug ring gauges are metrology tools used for checking threaded or tapped holes, verifying the proper thread type, major diameter, minor diameter, pitch diameter, and pitch of the thread against a mating thread gauge.
We introduced internal first-grade thread machining center and measuring equipment to provide high precision thread ring gauges to customers worldwide. Plug gauges provide fast results and have the advantage that users can be easily trained on their use as they rely on a simple working principle.
For small threaded parts, the gauge will be double-ended, with one end carrying the GO gauge and the other end the NOGO. For larger parts, the two may be separate pieces. To pass inspection, the GO gauge should pass through the entire length of the nut without requiring excessive rotational force. The NOGO gauge should enter no more than 2 turns and not go beyond this.

Applications
The thread plug gauge is a tool mainly used to inspect and judge whether thread size is qualified. They are widely used in automobile manufacturing, aerospace, machining and electronic processing for inspecting various standard and non-standard thread products to improve thread accuracy and ensure product quality.
Precautions
- Do not touch the working surface of the plug ring gauge with your hands to prevent rust.
- During use, place the gauge on an appropriate surface (tool cabinet or wooden backing plate), not on machine tool holders or guide rails.
- Inspect regularly for damage, rust or deformation. If rust appears, soak in gasoline, wipe carefully, and apply anti-rust oil.
- Do not store working surfaces of two plug ring gauges together to prevent sticking.
- After use, wipe clean and store under dry conditions.
